Your wedding should reflect who you are and what your relationship with your beloved is about.  For some this might mean a simple, no-frills affair that simply, but elegantly, formally bonds you to one another in marriage.  For others  it may mean a more elaborate and personalized ceremony, with additional readings and ceremonial.  And for some, it might mean a completely unique custom-designed ceremony crafted just for you.  We can make your day as elaborate, or as simple, as you prefer.  As Fr. Randy is an ordained Old Catholic priest, even a complete Nuptial Mass may be possible, if you desire.  The important thing is that your ceremony be exactly what you desire it to be.

The first step is to visit with you in person, or via teleconference, if you are outside of the Minneapolis-St Paul Metro area.   At this time we will discuss preliminary ideas that you have for your wedding and I will ask that you complete a short Information Sheet.  There is no cost for this initial consultation, but during this conversation you will be asked which package you desire.  We have three to choose from.

1) The Basic Package

The cost of the Basic Package is $150.00 for a midweek ceremony and $175.00 for a weekend (Friday Noon through Monday 8 am) date and includes travel to and from the wedding site, (within a 30 mile radius of my home address, as determined by MapQuest's "Shortest Time" route), performing the actual ceremony, your choice of one of three pre-written standard ceremonies, (a civil, spiritual, or Christian ceremony), unlimited exchange of e mail & phone calls regarding the wedding, the filing of all legal paperwork, and, if desired, a quick “run through” on the day of the wedding, or arrival one hour early so that the staged photos that you know you will want can be taken ahead of time.  Our fee for mileage beyond the 30 mile zone is $1.00 per mile.

2) The Deluxe Package

The cost of the Deluxe Package is $225.00 for a midweek ceremony and $250.00 for a weekend (Friday Noon through Monday 8 AM) date and includes a selection of three to five sample ceremonies of the 'type' (civil, spiritual or Christian) that you prefer for your wedding, along with a large collection of readings and  mini-ceremonies with which you can personalize your ceremony and make it your own, travel to and from the wedding site, (within a 30 mile radius of my home address, as determined by MapQuest's "Shortest Time" route), performing the actual ceremony,  unlimited exchange of e mail & phone calls regarding the wedding, the filing of all legal paperwork, and, if desired, a quick “run through” on the day of the wedding, or arrival one hour early so that the staged photos that you know you will want can be taken ahead of time.  Our fee for mileage beyond the 30 mile zone is $1.00 per mile.

3) The Full Custom Package

For a number of years, I served as chief Liturgist in my Church and gained a great deal of practice in the creation of public services.  Throughout my years in the ministry, I have made use of this experience in the crafting of custom-designed wedding ceremonies.   Following an initial conference, I will prepare an outline ceremony based on the preferences (and perhaps the theme) you have expressed, which we can use as a starting point for crafting your ceremony from scratch.   With your preferences, together we will craft the perfect ceremony to express you and your unique relationship.  As Custom Packages require a lot more time and effort, I must ask for a minimum of sixty (60) days preparation time.

Fully Custom Packages begin at $500.00.  With the Custom Package my fees include travel to and from the wedding site, (within a 30 mile radius of my home address, as determined by MapQuest's "Shortest Time" route), performing the actual ceremony, and custom design of the ceremony to make it uniquely yours. It further includes unlimited exchange of e mail & phone calls regarding the wedding, the filing of all legal paperwork, and a quick “run through” on the day of the wedding, or arrival one hour early so that the staged photos that you know you will want can be taken ahead of time.  Our fee for mileage beyond the 30 mile zone is $1.00 per mile.

With any of the above packages, if you desire me to be available for a full rehearsal on a separate day, there is an additional fee of $75.00, within a 30 mile radius of my home, as determined by MapQuest's "Shortest Time" route.  If the wedding is between 31-50 miles from home, there will be a mileage charge added.  Beyond a 50 mile radius, a full rehearsal on a separate date is $150.00 and I will either charge mileage to and from the rehearsal, or the fee for one night’s lodging.  Our fee for excess mileage is $1.00 per mile.

A 12 hour Premarital Counseling course which meets the requirements of the Minnesota Statute for a sharply discounted Marriage License is available upon request, but is not required.  The cost for this service is $150.00 and may be added to any of the above packages.

In addition to being an officiant, Deacon Billie is also an accomplished musician and may be available to provide music during your ceremony.  Arrangements and negotiations for this additional service must be made directly with Deacon Billie.

While services are available on nearly any day of the year, Holidays and Holiday Weekend dates in any location, are often the busiest times and, as such, are at a premium, and will require a specific quote.  Services on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve or Day, New Year's Eve or Day, and Valentine's Day, should be scheduled at least 60 days in advance.
